“To me, Israel represents a safe-haven, somewhere I can go and know that I will be accepted there for who I am. I fell in love with the country and all that is represents after being in Poland for a week in April 2012 for the March of the Living.While it is often hard to discuss the politics of Israel on campus, I am looking forward to Hasbara Fellowships teaching me how to better promote Israel in a way that is inclusive and respectful to all opinions, while also shedding light on all the positives Israel has to offer.”
